On this page we give a brief excerpt of our 100% vendor-independent CRM & Customer Interaction survey about the software vendor Oracle and its portfolio of products (such as Siebel CRM, Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Eloqua). Oracle CRM & Customer Interaction scores better in our study than Microsoft but slightly worse than SAP. Of all the categories in our independent study, Oracle has the most developed features in data quality and has a poor performance in task management. Within the context of CRM & Customer Interaction, we have put together the main advantages and disadvantages of Oracle CRM, and arranged them by topic (CRM). We also point out the features of the product portfolio such as Siebel CRM, Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Eloqua et cetera.

How does Oracle CRM & Customer Interaction score on different criteria?

In our independent study we also investigated the different products of Oracle CRM & Customer Interaction software. More than 180 criteria were used in the process. Lately, we see a stable trend when it comes to CRM & Customer Interaction functionality and support for operating systems and connectivity.

What are the licensing costs of Siebel CRM, Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Eloqua?

It is difficult to determine exactly what a license of Siebel CRM, Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Eloqua costs because it depends on the country, the number of users (also consider the amount of CPUs for server versions), the connectors to data sources, and at what point in the year you request a quote. If you request a quote just before the end of the fiscal period of Oracle, you can probably get a decent reduction in the license cost. In addition, it makes sense running the software in the cloud, for the most part, you only pay for your consumption then. The purchase cost of Siebel CRM, Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Eloqua may not be the largest cost item, but maintenance and support do put a strain on your budget each year.

What makes Oracle CRM & Customer Interaction worth considering

In our study, we see that Oracle in the field of CRM & Customer Interaction software has several specific features which are worth weighing in a tool selection. This makes Oracle CRM more or less unique: address cleansing, reporting dashboards, opportunity analysis, opportunity pipeline and direct marketing.

There is momentum, because: Oracle can currently work with partners to building on functionality that closes the gaps in the product portfolio at this time (such as support for ticketing system, no-code, cross-selling, add notes, complete tasks, gmail integration, journey management, tracking software, advanced reporting and custom activities). In addition, documentation may lag behind current events.
