Bernard Vuijk

Bernard Vuijk is one of Passionned's managing partners and is responsible for skills development, project direction and behavioural development at customer organisations.

After high-school Bernard worked as a consultant for the well known computer manufacturer Commodore. Since 1984 he has worked on a series of complex programs and projects at various large organisations in the Netherlands including KPN Nederland, TPG Post, ISC, ABN-AMRO, Interpay, ING, PCM, Ministry of Justice, Ministry LNV, Home Office and the Ministry of Defence.

He has degrees in commercial economics from the Haagse Hogeschool, and in Change Management from the Rotterdam School of Management/Erasmus University and is currently completing his Doctorstudy in Effective Project Management. He assists organisations in implementing complex programs and projects and coaches professionals in competence development. He personally project manages the more difficult aspects and does research, lectures, gives workshops and writes articles on competence development and project organisation. "The challenge is working together with a team to achieve success."  

His natural talent is leading reorganisations, change management processes and the development of team processes.  He is pragmatic, able to retain a good overview and is a conceptual thinker. Is at his best in functions with an entrepreneurial character, as well as change management functions. His belief is that people should treat each other with respect, compassion and friendliness.  "We work together with people, people should look after each other and have responsibilities to each other, like a team that climbs a mountain you reach the summit together and ensure the Safety, Trust and Friendship during the climb."
