Organisation and Behaviour
Achieving organisational development and change by employing competence development coaching. To achieve the maximum benefit from using decision support information and new ICT functionality it is often necessary to change attitudes and behaviour. We guide and assist organisations by intervening in existing processes and developing better behaviour in both management and staff.
Research results on corporate effectivity from the American Gallup Institute show that, amongst other things, using coaching to improve the corporate culture has achieved performance improvements of as much as 45%. Showing that often 'soft' factors can be determinant for 'hard' results.
The Centre for Creative Leadership has shown that when management "loses track" of what is going on, the reason lies in almost all cases (85%) in a lack of (emotional) skills or competences. Specifically, lack of: sympathy, attention, listening skills, communication, interest, etc. etc. The three most important of which are:
- difficulties in coping with change;
- the inability to work in (with) a team
- inadequate interpersonal skills
We coach organisations in competence development when they are seeking to improve their business performance, this ensures that their managers and staff are able to do their work better. This process starts with a thorough analysis using the Role Diagrammatical Approach (RDA); an easy to use model, developed at the Universities of Utrecht and Leiden which brings out the most fundamental aspects of human behaviour in both the work and the home environments, and shows how they can adjusted or better tuned to work together. In the following step, in a personal dialogue, we give feedback and plan the actions for the future, possible coaching, training or a workshop.
